Valerie is a licensed clinical social worker and experienced private practice owner who understands the challenges of starting a therapy business. With years of experience in clinical practice, supervision, and business development, she’s passionate about helping fellow therapists build practices that are sustainable, profitable, and aligned with their values. As the founder of Inner Solace Therapy and a future wellness center, Valerie is dedicated to supporting therapists in their journey from clinician to CEO.

  • This workshop series is designed for therapists who are just starting their private practice or are in the very early stages of setting one up. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the logistics of starting your business, this workshop will give you a clear roadmap.

  • No! Each workshop is a standalone training, so you can attend Part 2 or Part 3 as your practice grows.

  • This workshop focuses on foundational steps, so it’s best suited for those in the pre-launch or early stages of private practice. If you already have an established practice but need help with money mindset, branding, or scaling, consider attending our August (Money Mindset) or November (Marketing & Branding) workshops instead.

  • We will take a deeper dive into pricing, financial planning, and managing taxes as a business owner.

  • Just yourself, your prework, and an open mind! We’ll provide a workbook, lunch, and a swag bag. If you’d like to take additional notes, feel free to bring a laptop or notebook.

  • If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to transfer your registration to another participant or apply it toward Part 3 of the workshop series. Please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary updates.
